Tommy Lofgren, MA, LMHC, NCC

My name is Tommy Lofgren (MA, LMHC, NCC), and I have been in the counseling field since January 2020. I started with my internship in Kennewick, WA and quickly became passionate about building my own practice in the Tri-Cities. I graduated with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Union Institute and University, located in Cincinnati, OH (December 2021). Passionate about helping individuals heal through attachment wounds and trauma, I have dedicated time and continued effort in establishing and building my practice, Cultivate Connection Counseling. . . and it has been a safe haven that I hold very close to my heart.

In practice, I have truly valued couples work through an application of Emotionally Focused Therapy and somatic-oriented approaches, completing my externship and core skills training for EFT in 2021. I am honored and excited to offer more individuals and couples tools that they can provide a pathway for a deeper understanding of self and other. This is accomplished through both in-person and online therapy in Washington State.

It is my greatest hope to continue to build and expand my practice, eventually offering supervision to growing therapists coming out of their graduate programs, integrative care services, and future yoga offerings to the community.

Our body is our home. Building awareness and attunement to ourselves is just like noticing the windowsills collecting dust and creating space to address what needs our attention in the present. Thank you for being here!
