About

My name is Tommy Lofgren (MA, LMHC, NCC), and I have been in the counseling field since January 2020. I started with my internship in Kennewick, WA, and quickly became passionate about building my own practice in the Tri-Cities. I graduated with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Union Institute and University, located in Cincinnati, OH (December 2021). Passionate about helping individuals heal through attachment wounds and trauma, I have dedicated time and continued effort in starting Cultivate Connection Counseling, and it has been a safe haven that I hold very close to my heart.

In practice, I have truly valued couples work through an application of Emotionally Focused Therapy lens, completing the externship and core skills training back in 2021. I am honored and excited to offer more individuals and couples tools that they can incorporate into their relationships, whether they're stepping into an office space with a therapist, or they're working in the comfort of their own home. It is my hope to share the experiences I've gained as a mental health counselor, cultivating a safe space for those that truly need the resource of secure attachment in their lives.

"You can be comfortable knowing that all of the dust that has collected on the windowsill of your life will soon be touched, so that even if more dust collects thereafter, you will know how to clean the surface moving forward." - Tommy Lofgren, MA, LMHC, NCC
